Glenn Ballard invented the Last Planner System (with Greg Howell) in the 1980’s and has been leading the global development of Lean Construction, coining the name in 1992 with the foundation of the International Group for Lean Construction. He subsequently founded the Lean Construction Institute in 1997 and the Project Production Systems Laboratory (P2SL) at the University of California, Berkeley. Glenn is one of the most experienced practitioners of lean construction in the world and he will be available to answer your questions in this one-off event. Following a “Question Time” model, questions will be requested in advance in order to lead a deep and relevant discussion around the big issues facing Lean Construction practice in the UK. Venue: Nottingham Conference Centre; cost £50:00 plus VAT to include lunch and refreshments. Numbers limited to 30.
