The last 18 months have been a busy period for LCI-UK indeed. We successfully delivered, in conjunction with the CITB and our partner companies (Mace, Bam Nuttall, Skanska, Galliford Try and Costain) the Lean Construction Development Pathway programme, which resulted in approved savings of £12.7 million against a target of £5 million.
It is an exciting period in our development as we continue to roll the programme out with new and existing partners, and we look forward to sharing further news with you over the coming weeks as to what our next steps are.
In the meantime, we are concentrating on our Summit and Training Day, which will be taking place at the NEC in conjunction with UK Construction Week on 9th & 10th of October.
The Summit theme is: “Lean Construction: Evolution or Revolution? Shaking it up” and our keynotes will be examining this question, from their own viewpoint and experience.
In line with previous years, LCI UK will present an exciting programme of speakers and training sessions, enabling our delegates to strengthen their understanding of Lean, by tapping in to other people’s experiences through our seminars and networking sessions, as well as having the opportunity to explore all that UK Construction Week has to offer.
LCI-UK are excited to welcome CITB Chief Executive, Sarah Beale and Highways England’s Executive Director of Major Projects, Peter Mumford, to the Summit this year, along with other excellent speakers from headline sponsor Bam Nuttall, Royal BAM Group’s Director of Digital, Menno de Jonge, Construction Innovation Hub’s Programme Director, Keith Waller, and Mace Associate Director, Kevin McHugh – plus others to be confirmed; it really is looking like a fabulous line up.
Bookings for both events are open, just click on the links below for further information and to book:
