Four of our directors will be taking to the Infrastructure Hub stage on Tuesday, 4th October at 13:30 at UK Construction Week, which is at the NEC.
The session ‘Bringing Lean to Life in a Modern Construction Industry‘ starts from the preface that the modern construction industry is one that needs to improve its performance across the board and throughout the supply chain. Our speakers will look at what is meant by ‘modern construction industry’ and discuss how Lean can impact and improve said performance – be it in terms of safety, speed, value, productivity or environmentally – whilst also adhering to new contractual and behavioural models and integrating new technology and modern construction methods.
Discussion will further focus on Lean Construction Development Pathway, a cross industry collaboration to upskill and dramatically improve productivity and predictability to meet and then exceed client expectations through Lean thinking and methods.
