To discuss various opportunities for improvement in Traffic Management (TM), an event is planned, to bring together key stakeholders from Traffic Management including clients, contractors, sub-contractors, Manchester Metropolitan Police and various Utilities involved in TM. Highways England Lean Division in collaboration with delivery partner WSP Parsons Brinckerhoff has commissioned a study to the University of Salford” on improving Traffic Management process. The goal of the research is to help improve existing Traffic Management Processes, and identify opportunities to attain improved safety, reduced congestion and mitigate road user impacts, during scheme development and routine road maintenance activities.
